Management Trainee Executive Program

BERGER Management Trainee Executive (MTE) Program is a rigorous recruitment process for selecting trainees and nurturing them into “Well Rounded Professionals”

Eligibility Criteria

Students who have completed their MBA/ Masters Degree are eligible to apply for this program.

Candidates are short listed from specific institutions across the country for the written test.

  •  Successful candidates of the test are called in for the first interview which consists of a surprise presentation (topic will be related to the subject for which the MTE is being hired) and a basic interview.
  • After the successful completion of this phase, final interview is conducted by senior management.
  •  Our Management Trainee Executive program is a 1-year training program in which you are assigned exciting projects with full responsibility to continually develop your skills. The most exciting part of this program is the multiple rotations from functions at Head office to working on the factory floor and to finally spending time in the market. Together, we provide tremendous insight into how each function operates closely to achieve business growth.
  •  After the successful completion of one year training period, the Management Trainee is confirmed as Executive in the designated department.

Management Trainee Officer Program

BERGER Management Trainee Officer (MTO) Program is just the right place for you to be! We have a progressive development plan for all those who want to join our organization. We want young and dynamic talent and look forward to impart our rich knowledge and experience to groom them to take over as “future leaders”

Eligibility Criteria

Students who have completed their BBA (Bachelors in Business Administration) Degree are eligible to apply for this program.

Recruitment Steps & Structure of Program:

  •  Candidates are short listed from specific institutions across the country for the written test.
  • Successful candidates of the test are called in for the first interview which consists of a surprise presentation (topic will be related to the subject for which the MTO is being hired) and a basic interview.
  •  After the successful completion of this phase, final interview is conducted by senior management.
  •  Our Management Trainee Officer program is a 1-year training program which gives a trainee an opportunity to work on exciting yet challenging assignments providing invaluable insights into how the organization works.
  • After the successful completion of one year training period, the Management Trainee Officer is confirmed as an Officer in the designated department.

Internship Program

Duration of Internship:

The duration of internship is 6-weeks.

Internee Selection:

  • The candidates have to contact BERGER through their University’s Placement/Recruitment Office which recommends them for the internship.
  • An expert’s team carefully selects the interns based on their aptitude, academic record and the mentioned topic in which they intend to undertake the project work.

Internship Program Details:

  • Each intern is given a challenging project either of their choice or as decided by the company to work on, during the period of internship.
  •  Typically, summer interns are expected to make a presentation on their learning and the recommendations on the project to an Executive Panel consisting of their Project Guide, a representative from HR and a member of the Senior Management team.
  •  All Interns are paid a fixed stipend per week during the period of their internships.

Engineering- Graduate Trainee Officer program

Berger Graduate Trainee Officer (GTO) program gives the opportunity to fresh engineering graduates to fast-track their careers.

Eligibility Criteria

Students who have completed their Engineering Degree from reputed University are eligible to apply for this program.

  • Successful candidates of the test are called in for the first interview which consists of a surprise presentation (topic will be related to the subject for which the GTO is being hired) and a basic interview.
  •  After the successful completion of this phase, final interview is conducted by senior management.
  • Our Graduate Trainee Officer program is a 1-year training program which gives a trainee an opportunity to work on exciting yet challenging assignments providing invaluable insights into how the organization works.
  • After the successful completion of one year training period, the Graduate Trainee Officer is confirmed as an Executive in the designated department.

ICAEW Training Program

Berger, in its efforts to invest in building a strong human resource capital for future needs of the company and the country, offers a training program as being the Authorized Training Employer by Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). In this exclusive training program, an ICAEW student is engaged as Trainee Officer and provides the opportunity to work in Accounts, Finance and Audit functions of the company.

Eligibility Criteria

ICAEW (nine papers pass or more) or ACCA (fundamental level pass or more)

Not older than 25 years of age

Application and Selection

A – Advertisement

Recruitment process will be initiated through a public advertisement which will be placed on career section of Berger website and/or at various online forums of job advertisement and placement. Tentatively, this advertisement will be publicized in the beginning of June and/or December.

B – Test

A test will be conducted covering all or any of the following areas:

  • Financial Accounting & Reporting
  • Audit & Assurance
  • Financial Management
  • Taxation (Option available for Local and International Tax Laws)
  • Management & Cost Accounting (Basic Level)
  • Verbal, Quantitative and Analytical Reasoning

C – Interview

On the basis of test results, shortlisting of the candidates will be done. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview to assess candidate’s interpersonal skills, analytical abilities and business acumen.

D – Selection

Finally, suitable candidates will be informed of their selection for this program by issuing an offer letter. Candidates will be given adequate time to decide and upon acceptance; they will be asked to sign a Training Agreement for a period of three years.

Stipend: stipend to all trainee students will be given as per company policy.
