LIFEplus + Emulsion

Scope

Berger LIFEplus+ Emulsion is a protective interior finish against viruses and insects. It is a water based biopolymer coating developed with an innovative technology that allows a slow release of insecticide it contains providing the product high persistence and very low toxicity.

Uses

Berger LIFEplus+ Emulsion can be applied on all prepared and primed surfaces such as walls, ceilings, old and new cement plasters, chip boards and hard boards for protection and at the same time providing an elegant look to the surfaces.

Surface Preparation

All surfaces should be clean, free from dust, dirt, loose paint and should be dried before applying the paint. New surfaces should be sand papered and brushed off using a bristle brush and then be coated with 2 coats of Berger Plastron Wall Primer Sealer or Berger Water Based Primer before product application.

Application Procedure

Berger LIFEplus+ Emulsion can be applied with the help of brush, roller or spray. Berger LIFEplus+ Emulsion should be mixed with the required amount of water which should not be less than 2 and more than 3 liters of water in one gallon of paint before use.  The final coat may be applied with increased water than the last coat for easy application and smooth look. Brush and other tools must be thoroughly washed with water immediately after use.

Drying Time

Berger LIFEplus+ Emulsion dries within one hour but may take longer to dry in rainy and cold seasons. However, it is recommended to allow 2-3 hours between each coat.

Coverage

Berger LIFEplus+ Emulsion covers 13 to 16 m2 per liter per coat depending upon the surface porosity.

Safety Precautions

The container should be protected from extreme hot or cold temperature. It should be properly closed and kept in an upright position before, during and after use. In case of product contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice if the irritation persists. It is recommended to always use gloves and goggles during application.
